Getting started: AuScope perspective

AuScope is excited to work alongside other research co-investors in the ASDC. Starting in early 2020 the ASDC aims to standardise how earth and environmental scientists collect and analyse drone-collected data by establishing best-practices and FAIR data principles as informed by many nationally significant fields of research.

We live and work on lands across the Australian continent that have been under custodianship of First Nations people for tens of thousands of years. We acknowledge their deep connection to country, waters, and skies; and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

ASDC is a collaboration between NCRIS organisations ARDC, TERN, APPF and AuScope, together with CSIRO, that aims to improve the way Australian researchers undertake impactful science using drones.
